Working with MBMB
For 2008, MBMB will be employing some new mountain bike guides and new cooks.
If you want a job, get a flight over and spend a weekend with us riding in Chamonix. We'll pick you up from Geneva, feed you and put you up. If you are not successful, at least you've had a weekend riding in Chamonix for the cost of a flight.
Anybody applying for a cook's position should have relevant experience of cooking in a chalet style or restaurant environment.
People applying for positions as guides should ideally
have a relevant guiding qualification such as the OTC scheme. A first
aid certificate is essential. If you don't have one and want to work with
us, go and get one.
There's more to the guiding job than just guiding. Guides help the cook with food prep and washing up. Guides also prepare breakfast and help with the cleaning on changeover day.
